I believe that William and Mary Oman are the parents of Maria Oman. We can see in the household that there is a granddaughter Marion, who I am sure is in fact Maria Knibbs, the daughter of Edwin George Knibbs and his wife Elizabeth, who was Maria's sister.

It's interesting to see Thomas Carr living in the household as a visitor and widower. We know that he eventually went on to marry two of the females from this family. He married Maria Oman who died in 1876, and then he married her niece Maria Knibbs in 1877.

I also wonder if the daughter Maria Rushworth is in fact Maria Oman? Did she previously marry someone named Rushworth before she married Thomas Carr?
