John died in August 1872 aged 78 years.
__________
The 1841 census for Central, South and East Oxfordshire shows John and his family living at Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England.
John KNIBBS 40
Ann 30
Ann 12
Clearly, Ann is the daughter of his first wife Catherine WRIGHT.
Also at Woodstock at the 1841 census is a John KNIBBS aged 13, but living at a different address with a non-Knibbs family. I suspect it was John Knibbs' son from his first wife Catherine.
__________
John and his family are listed in the 1851 census for the Woodstock Union, living at Woodstock:
John KNIBBS 53 Saddler Woodstock
Ann 40 Woodstock
Eliza 9 Woodstock
Harriet 8 Woodstock
William 5 Woodstock
James 3 Woodstock
Henry 1 Woodstock
John is listed in the History, Gazetteer and Directory of the Count of Oxford 1852, as a Saddler at Woodstock.
__________
John is also listed in the 1871 census for Oxfordshire and North Berkshire as living at 24 Back Lane, Woodstock with his wife and two of his children:

__________
According to Jackson's Oxford Journal, John was saddler to "C" Troop, Oxford Yeomanry Corps for several years.
From Jackson's Oxford Journal (Oxford, England), Saturday, August 24, 1872;

Notes for Ann WHITE:
The Woodstock 1851 Census indicates that Ann was born at around 1817 in Woodstock.
The 1901 census indicates that Ann was born at around 1810/11, but we know from later evidence that her age as given in 1851 was incorrect. She died in 1919 at the fantastic age of 102 years.
__________
The 1881 census shows Ann living at Back Lane, Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England
Ann KNIBBS Head W Female 43 Woodstock, Oxford, England Charwoman
Mary KNIBBS Daur U Female 26 Woodstock, Oxford, England Machinist (Glove)
George KNIBBS Grandson Male 8 Woodstock, Oxford, England Scholar
(Note: George was the illegitimate son of Mary).
Once again, there was a huge discrepancy with Ann's age.
__________
Ann appears in the 1891 census living at Back Lane, Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England:
Ann Knibbs Head W Age 71 Charwoman and employed
__________
Ann is identified as aged 81 years, living at Woodstock, Oxfordshire in the 1901 census, Charwoman.
