Millard's mom Hazel died of appendicitis when he was just a young boy of 4 or 5 years. He was then brought up by cousins with the family name of LUCAS who also lived in Fairport, New York.

Rochester: Died peacefully in her sleep after a long illness with Alzheimer's on Monday, June 23, 2008. She was widowed by Millard J. Knibbs and survived by her children, Arthur (Kris) Martz, Thomas (Marilyn) Martz and Cynthia (Brian) Hall. She also had several grandchildren, Roxanne (Terry) Foltz, Arthur (Diane) Martz, Christopher (Pam) Martz, Jeremy Martz, Joanne Martz, Franklin (Holly) Zahn & Felisha (Michael) Bostick. In addition she had 13 great-grandchildren, of which Alexis & Aaron Bostick will miss their weekly visits.
Service will be held at Saint John's Home/Chapel on Saturday, June 28th at 10 A.M. In lieu of flowers the family request a donation to St. John's Home who gave her the best of care for her last 5 1/2 years.
