Marriage Notes for John ROGERS\Ann KNIBBS:
Witnesses to the marriage were John Plumbe and Obadiah Baker
No children listed from this marriage in the Somerton PR Transcript. Conjecture that the child Ann was indeed the illegitimate daughter of the Ann.

Notes for Anne KNIBBS:
Conjecture that this Anne was indeed the daughter of Anne Knibbs who married John Rogers. There is no baptism identified for Anne so all we know is what is written in the Somerton PR transcript that she died as an infant and was the illegitimate daughter of Anne.
Anne Knibbs, daughter of Thomas Knibbs and Ann appears to be the only Anne Knibbs at Somerton at this time. If indeed the baby was Anns, she would have been married to John Rogers for just 3 months so the baby would have been classed as illegitimate, especially so if John Rogers was not the father.
It is of course possible that Anne (the mother of the illegitimate Ann) was from another parish and simply moved in with relatives during the latter stages of pregnancy?
