Notes for Richard George HOLLOWAY:
We can see Richard living with his wife Eva and their daughter Martha in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada at the time of the 1911 census. Richard is aged 27, Eva 22, and daughter Martha just 1 year.
__________
A sample of Richard's signature taken from his military registration card, 1918.
__________
We can see from Richard's military registration card that in September 1918, he was living at 813 Sherman Road, Hood River, Oregon. Confusingly, he says that he was a Native Born American but that he was citizen of England, and not America. He was in Invalid, but employed by the Singer Sewing machine Co., Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. His next of kin was Mrs R(?) Holloway of the same address. He was short, stout, with blue eyes and brownhair.
See Richard's Military Registration Card from 1918
We can see from the LDS site that his wife (which the LDS IGI gives as Evah Clare) died at Hood River less than two months after the military registration card was completed.
__________
LDS IGI states that Richard was buried at Ocean View B. Pk, Vancouver, British Columbia
Details of Richards death found in the LDS IGI as well as at
