We can see in September 1918, from his military registration card, that Elmo was living at 232 E. Eagle, Buffalo, Erie, New York. He lists his mother, Edith Knibbs as his next of kin.
He was emplyed as a Cableman for a company called the Pennsylvania Traders(?).
