Notes for Catharine KNIBBS:

Catharine can be seen in the 1881 census for England and Wales, a widow aged 79, living at 12 Vernon Street, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England, as a lodger with Isiah Gill and his wife Elizabeth.

I'm grateful to Cathy Barbour, a g-g-g-granddaughter of Catharine Knibbs and Thomas Wyatt for explaining to me that Isaiah Gill was Catharine's grandson. Catharine's daughter Sarah married a man named Isaiah Gill, and the Isaiah Gill that Catharine was living with in 1881 would have been their son.

Isiah GILL Head M Male 25 Westbromwich, Stafford, England Boatbuilder
Elizabeth GILL Wife M Female 23 Westbromwich, Stafford, England
Catherine WYATT Boarder W Female 79 Banbury, Oxford, England

It's interesting to note that Isiah is a boatbuilder which is the same trade as his grandfather (Catharine Knibbs' husband) Thomas Wyatt.
