I understand from Walter's niece Barbara Stacey that Walter always attended the Sunday service at the little Chapel at Clifton and that he lived in Clifton all of his life.
__________

The Knibbs' long association with the village of Clifton ended with Walter's death in 1959. His grandson Colin Rapley was the last family member to have been born at Clifton. He moved with his parents to live at Witney at the end of 1945 when his father returned from war.

Colin tells me that Walter and his wife Ruth are both buried at the Deddington Churchyard.
