7/11/2009	Have managed to find details of the Notice of Freedom issued to Thomas KNIBBS b.1796, Charlbury, Oxfordshire. We believe it was this Thomas who was deported to Australia for a 7 year sentence in 1824.

7/11/2009	Thanks to Jonathan Webster for help with the following family group from Egham/Bishopsgate, Surrey: An additional child found for Joseph KNIBBS/Mary Ann LILLY, b.c.1848 at Bishopsgate Egham, Surrey. A second husband and an additional child found for their daughter Frances KNIBBS b.1846 at Bishopsgate. She married James SMITH in 1885. Additional children found for Charlotte Fanny KNIBBS (daughter of Frances above) b.1871 at Mile End, London. Charlotte married John WEBSTER Dates of death found for Charlotte and John WEBSTER and some of their children Have added a copy of the Passenger List showing Emily KNIBBS (a granddaughter of Joseph KNIBBS/Mary Ann LILLY) traveling from London to the USA as Mrs E K HOARE in January 1894. Well done and thanks to Jonathan for finding a poster from Aug 1867, showing Elizabeth Knibbs (aka Lizzie Lemure) from Egham, Surrey during her time in the theatre.

7/11/2009	Have recognised that Sydney Edwin KNIBBS b. 1893 in London served in the Middlesex Regiment during WWI and was killed in action at Ypres in 1917.
7/11/2009	Thanks to Pippa GREGORY for providing details of the arrival in Plymouth, Devonshire, of William Garrett KNIBBS and his wife Elsie aboard the Dutch ship Simon Bolivar, from Cura�ao in the Caribbean. Found details of a Patent applied for and awarded to William Garrett KNIBBS for a device designed to hermetically seal metal containers containing food.

The grandchildren belonged to her daughter Alice Amelia (Brashier) McCARTNEY Date of death found for Catherine Fanny BRASHIER b.1856, the daughter of Ann (Brashier) KNIBBS above.

7/11/2009	A wife and three children found for Charles Eric KNIBBS b.1921 in Windsor District. He married Florence SUTCLIFFE.
7/11/2009	I believe I've managed to identify the names of the two children lost by Edgar KNIBBS b.1854 in New York, and his wife Mary HOFFMEISTER. They had a son named George born in about September 1887 and another named Edward born in August 1880. They both died in infancy.

1/08/2009	A photograph added of the entire crew of the Submarine E8 in 1915/16 during it's time as past of the Baltic Fleet. One of the crew was Amos Charles KNIBBS b.1883 at Windsor, Berkshire, but at this stage I haven't been able to identify which one.

1/08/2009	Found details of the public house called the California Arms in Belmont, Surrey that was run by my grandfathers 1st cousin Hannah WRIGHT and her husband Pelton GIBBONS at the turn of the 19th century. Found details of the Post Office in Belmont, Surrey that was run by another of my grandfather's 1st cousins, Mary Ann WRIGHT and her husband William Henry BRAIN. Have updated the extract from Howard Ernest ROBERTS' address book to include the details of his 2nd cousin, Gracie GIBBONS, daughter of Hannah WRIGHT/Pelton GIBBONS of the California Arms pub at Belmont, Surrey, mentioned above. Howard Ernest ROBERTS was the son of Ann KNIBBS, the 1st cousin of Hannah and Mary Ann WRIGHT. Ann Emigrated to Connecticut USA with her parents in 1857.

Found the deaths for Anna KNIBBS parents, Mary KNIBBS b.1837 in Dublin, Ireland and Henry KNIBBS b.1837 at Windsor, Berkshire. Also, her brother Henry KNIBBS, b.1878 in Hull, Yorkshire, and her sister Mary KNIBBS b.1875, also in Hull.
1/08/2009	A second husband found for Ann Maria WILLIAMS who's husband George KNIBBS b.1842 at Old Windsor, Berkshire, died in 1893. Ann married Charles Thomas MANSFIELD at Windsor.

	Christopher Shawn KNIBBS aged just 26 of Unionville, Connecticut, USA, died on 23 Dec, 2009. Chris is survived by his mother Deborah, father Edward; brother Mark; maternal grandmother Dorothy Betti; paternal grandmother Donna Jamul and paternal grandfather Edward Knibbs.
	Ronald A KNIBBS jr. of Lancaster, New York, USA died suddenly on 27 December, 2009 aged 53 years. Beloved husband of Elisabeth; devoted father of Carrie, Christopher A. and Craig Knibbs; proud grandfather of Cameron, Haley, Michaela and Amitee.
	Philip Gordon BROOME of Daventry, Northamptonshire, England died at the end of November, aged 79. He will be sadly missed by his wife Barbara (KNIBBS) as well as his three sons Gary, Philip and Gordon.
	Constance Betty WATKINS (nee KNIBBS) died on 22 Nov 2009 at the age of 90. Betty was pre-deceased by her husband Herbert in 1970, and is survived by her two daughters, Marilyn and Sandra.

	Details added for Gerald WHITAKER and his family. Gerald married Eirene Bird KNIBBS in King Williams Town in 1917. Thanks to Rob van STADEN who is descended from one of Gerald's brothers.
	Many dates and additional information added for the grandchildren of Ann KNIBBS b.1829 in Woodstock Oxfordshire. She married George BRASHIER and they emigrated to Wisconsin, USA in 1860.
	Maurice Theodore KNIBBS b.1896 at Windsor, Berkshire, emigrated to Canada in 1949.
	Have discovered that Francis KNIBBS b.1815 at Deddington, Oxfordshire, left England and went to live in Ystradyfodwg, Glamorgan, Wales at some time between 1861 and 1871. His wife Mary and children remained in England and eventually Mary remarried.
	Added a link to the family pages of Alan and Julie HARMER. Alan and Julie's family link to ours way back in 1770's when William KNIBBS b.1777 at Middle Barton, married Ann FARDON.
	A second child found for Mary Eveline KNIBBS b.1892 at Clifton, Oxfordshire, England. Mary married Frederick GRUNAU in Coventry District in 1916.

	A fourth child found for Alice Winifred KNIBBS b.1889 at St Giles, London. Alice married Albert TENNANT in Coventry in 1911.
	A wife and two daughters found for Herbert Fred KNIBBS b.1894 at Clifton, Oxfordshire. Herbert married Annie GARDNER at Coventry in 1917. The marriage found for his daughter, Gwendoline KNIBBS b.Private in Coventry District. Gwendoline married Arthur BROWNING. 	Have added an extract from the diary of Lt. Cdr. Goodheart, the Commander of the Submarine E8, showing reference to Amos Charles KNIBBS at the visit of the Czar Prince Nicholas of Russia on 10 Nov 1915. Thanks to John Spence, grandson of Lt. Cdr. Goodheart for sharing this with us.
