| Harold George Knibbs, my father, b. Basingstoke, Nov 1913 lived here at 11 Avondale Road, Newport, Isle of Wight with his wife Pearl and 2 of their children, Elizabeth and me. He bought the house in 1964 when the company he worked for moved him to the Isle of Wight. He live there until 1997, when ill health forced him to move closer to me. |
