Anne KNIBBS  
1834-1913

Anne was born in Old Windsor, Berkshire, England in 1834 and lived much of her life in Egham, Surrey. Her grandfather James Knibbs was born in Deddington, Oxfordshire and started his family there, but moved to Windsor some time after 1800. 
Anne's father John was born in Old Windsor.

Anne married William Hall from Egham,Surrey in 1860 and they had seven children.

Childhood in Englefield Green, 1907-1923 is a fascinating insight into life in these times at Englefield Green, just a small distance from Egham. This memoir is compiled from notes written by Anne's granddaughter, Ellen Hall.
