After WWII, Winifred and Sydney moved to live at North End, Portsmouth, Hampshire. After retirement, they moved to live in Waterlooville, Hampshire.

Winifred's brother, Harold George Knibbs is standing in the light grey suit, with his wfe-to-be, Pearl NASH by his left shoulder. Winifred's father-in-law is seated on her right. The bridesmaid is Joan Stroud (aged 6 years) the daughter of Phillys Eveline Knibbs, Winifred's sister.
